ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - TECHNICAL OFFICE

* We are seeking an experienced **Electrical Engineer – Technical Office** with above **4 years of UAE experience** in MEP contracting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, quantity take-offs, and coordinating with consultants, clients, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review electrical shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and approved IFC drawings. * Prepare technical submittals, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs. * Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals for drawings and materials. * Review project specifications, BOQs, and contract documents. * Prepare quantity take-offs and material requirements. * Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material approvals and technical clarifications. * Review vendor technical documents and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Provide technical support to site engineers during project execution. * Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and other MEP disciplines to resolve design and coordination issues. * Maintain proper documentation of technical submissions, approvals, and project records. * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. * Perform other duties assigned by the Technical Manager or Management. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. * **above 4 years of UAE experience in an MEP Contracting Company (Technical Office).** * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including Power, Lighting, Low Current, and ELV systems. * Experience in preparing technical submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and quantity take-offs. * Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage. * Good understanding of DEWA, ADDC/AADC, SEWA, FEWA/EtihadWE, and other UAE authority requirements is preferred. * Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. * Candidates currently available in the UAE with immediate or short notice will be preferred.
