Electrical Estimator – MEP Projects

Company Overview **Insharo** is seeking a highly analytical and experienced **Electrical Estimator** on behalf of our client, a prominent MEP contracting firm. This is a fully remote position based in Egypt, requiring direct expertise in Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards to support major MEP projects in the Kingdom. Position Overview * **Position:** Electrical Estimator – MEP Projects * **Location:** Remote (Must be based in Egypt) * **Contract Duration:** 12 Months (Renewable) * **Working Hours:** * Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (KSA Time) * Sunday: 4 hours (Flexible/As aligned with team operations) Key Responsibilities * Review tender documents, drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications. * Perform precise quantity take-offs for MV/LV, Lighting, ELV, ICT, and Fire Alarm systems. * Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing sheets, and comprehensive bid submissions. * Coordinate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations. * Conduct value engineering and risk assessments to optimize project costs. * Raise and manage technical and commercial tender clarifications (RFIs). Requirements & Qualifications * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. * **Experience:** 4 to 7 years of experience in MEP Contracting, with **mandatory previous experience handling projects within Saudi Arabia**. * **Regulations:** Strong, working knowledge of the **Saudi Building Code (SBC)**, **Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Regulations**, and **Civil Defense requirements**. * **Software Proficiency:** * Proficient in PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, RIB Candy (CCS), and Advanced Excel. * Familiarity with Glodon and/or Revit is considered a strong advantage. * **Skills:** Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. * **Language:** Fluent in English.
