Electrician foreman and technicians construction (Power and low current)

**Job Summary:** The Electrician Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical works on site, including power distribution and low current systems. The role ensures installations are executed according to drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise daily electrical installation works (power and low current). * Read and interpret electrical shop drawings, single line diagrams, and layouts. * Plan and assign manpower, tools, and materials. * Oversee installation of: * Power systems (cable trays, conduits, wiring, MDB/SMDB/DB panels, lighting, power outlets) * Low current systems (fire alarm, data/telephone, CCTV, access control, PA system) * Ensure proper cable pulling, glanding, termination, and labeling. * Coordinate with other trades (HVAC, plumbing, civil, etc.). * Monitor site progress and report to Site Engineer/Project Manager. * Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements. * Conduct inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning activities. * Maintain daily work reports and material tracking. * Enforce safety procedures and proper housekeeping. **Requirements:** * Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * 5–10 years of experience in electrical construction (UAE/GCC preferred). * Strong knowledge of power and low current systems. * Experience in team supervision and site coordination. * Familiar with local regulations and safety standards. **Electrician Technician – (Power & Low Current Systems)** **Job Summary:** Electricians are responsible for installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems on construction sites, including both power and low current works. **Key Responsibilities:** * Install electrical containment systems (conduits, trunking, cable trays, ladders). * Perform cable pulling, glanding, termination, and dressing. * Install lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, and distribution boards. * Assist in installation of low current systems: * Fire alarm devices (detectors, MCPs, sounders) * Data and telephone outlets * CCTV cameras and access control devices * Read and follow electrical drawings and supervisor instructions. * Conduct basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance, etc.). * Ensure proper labeling and identification of cables and panels. * Maintain tools and equipment. * Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times. * Assist in testing and commissioning works. **Requirements:** * ITI or technical certification in Electrical. * 2–5 years of experience in electrical installation works. * Basic knowledge of power and low current systems. * Ability to read electrical drawings. * Good teamwork and communication skills. **Optional Add-ons (for UAE projects):** * Familiarity with authority standards (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense). * Experience in **high-rise buildings, villas, or commercial projects**. * Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures. * UAE driving license (for foreman – optional).
