Estimation Engineer

**Job Title: Estimation Engineer** **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Company:** Four Square Steel Construction Contracting LLC About the Role Four Square Steel Construction Contracting LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. We welcome applications from experienced estimation professionals as well as junior candidates who possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in utilizing AI tools for estimation and cost analysis. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and project budgets for steel construction and contracting projects. * Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents. * Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare tender submissions, BOQs, and commercial proposals. * Conduct cost analysis and value engineering studies. * Coordinate with project, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure accurate pricing. * Utilize estimation software and AI-powered tools to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency. * Monitor market prices for materials, labor, and subcontracting works. * Assist in project cost planning and budgeting activities. Requirements For Experienced Candidates * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. * 2 to 5 years of proven experience in estimation within steel construction, structural steel, fabrication, Warehouse Building Projects, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), Hot Rolled Steel Structure Projects or contracting projects. * Strong understanding of tendering processes, quantity surveying, and cost estimation. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software. For Junior Candidates * Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification. * Strong knowledge and practical use of AI tools for estimation, data analysis, and proposal preparation. * Good understanding of construction drawings and quantity take-offs. * Eagerness to learn and develop within the steel construction industry. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills * Experience with AI-assisted estimation workflows. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. * Knowledge of UAE construction market and pricing is an advantage.
