Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender documentation, and project budgeting for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and development projects. The candidate should possess strong technical and analytical skills with solid UAE market knowledge in construction costs, materials, subcontractor pricing, and project execution methodologies. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. * Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for quantity take-offs and cost analysis. * Prepare BOQs, tender documents, and cost breakdowns. * Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing where required. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams during tendering stages. * Conduct value engineering and cost optimization exercises. * Prepare preliminary budgets and feasibility cost studies for development projects. * Monitor market rates, material pricing, and construction trends within the UAE. * Assist management with project financial forecasting and budgeting. * Evaluate variations, additional works, and change orders. * Support procurement and project execution teams with technical and commercial clarifications. * Maintain estimation databases, cost records, and benchmarking information. * Ensure all estimates comply with project scope, quality standards, and timelines. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. * Minimum 1-2 years of UAE experience in estimation and quantity surveying. * Strong knowledge of UAE construction market pricing and tendering procedures. * Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software/tools. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies and material specifications. * Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation accurately. * Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with developers, contractors, or project management firms in the UAE. * Knowledge of authority regulations and project approval processes. * Quantity Surveying experience is an advantage. * UAE Driving License preferred.
