Hiring Estimation Engineer – Facade & Glazing Projects Location: UAE Industry: Facade / Aluminum Glazing / Construction Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Salary: Open to Discuss Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with strong knowledge in facade and aluminum glazing projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, quantity take-offs, tender submissions, and commercial evaluations to ensure projects are completed within budget and submitted competitively. Key Responsibilities * Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and client requirements to determine project scope and costing. * Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, manpower, equipment, subcontractor pricing, overheads, and profit margins. * Carry out quantity take-offs for interior and exterior glazing works. * Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate pricing. * Prepare final project costing and submit reports for management approval. * Develop BOQs, tender documents, pricing schedules, and covering letters for project submissions. * Support pre-tender and post-tender quantity surveying activities. * Coordinate with engineering and design teams to identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities. * Monitor project costs and compare actual expenses against estimated budgets. * Prepare daily and weekly job status reports for management review. * Attend client meetings to discuss estimates, technical clarifications, and project requirements. * Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, contracts, and project documentation. Requirements * Minimum 5 years of experience in facade, aluminum glazing, or construction estimation. * Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, tendering, and cost analysis. * Experience in pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and coordination abilities. * Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software is an advantage.
