**Technical Estimation Engineer – Joinery & Fit-Out** **About Us:** MBT is a leading provider of innovative solutions in HPL products, joinery, architectural finishes, and more. We are looking for a skilled **Estimation Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, fit-out projects, and HPL, with expertise in technical and shop drawings, AutoCAD, and interpreting specifications. We seek someone who is open-minded, adaptable, and confident in communicating with clients to ensure their specifications are met. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assess project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates, particularly for joinery and HPL-related projects. * Analyze and interpret detailed shop drawings and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications. * Perform quantity take-offs from BOQs to ensure precise cost estimates and send inquiries to suppliers for competitive quotations. * Prepare well-structured proposals and quotations based on thorough cost analysis and feasibility studies. * Coordinate with clients to understand their specific requirements and ensure that quotations align with their expectations. * Review and ensure that all technical submissions and approvals are in place to maintain project timelines and specifications. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. * Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Estimation Engineer, preferably in the contracting, fit-out, and joinery industry, with a focus on HPL products. * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other design/visualization software. * Advanced ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings and project specifications. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and suppliers confidently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Ability to adapt and think creatively in problem-solving and estimation processes. * UAE driving license (preferred).
