Estimation Engineer (Landscaping & Irrigation)

Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for landscape and irrigation projects. This role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material, labor, and equipment costs while ensuring competitive and profitable bids. * Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for landscape and irrigation projects * Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs * Perform quantity take-offs for softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and infrastructure elements * Analyze project scope and identify risks, constraints, and cost-saving opportunities * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors * Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns * Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing * Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits * Prepare and submit tender proposals within deadlines * Track and maintain records of estimates, bids, and project costs * And carry out any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager. **Qualifications**: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field * 3–7 years of experience in estimation, preferably in landscaping projects * Strong knowledge of landscape works including softscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems * Experience with quantity surveying and cost estimation techniques * Proficiency in estimation and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel) **Key Skills:** * BOQ preparation * Cost analysis and budgeting * Attention to detail and accuracy * Strong analytical skills * Time management and ability to meet deadlines * Communication and coordination skills Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Experience: * estimation: 5 years (Preferred) * landscaping and / or Irrigation: 3 years (Preferred) * drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel): 3 years (Preferred) * Tender document: 2 years (Preferred) * BOQ's: 2 years (Preferred) Language: * English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
