Estimation Engineer -Swimming Pool

**Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (MEP). * **Experience:** 2–5 years of proven estimation experience specifically in aquatic construction, high-end landscaping, or water features. * **Software Proficiency:** Mastery of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and specialized estimation/take-off tools. * **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of swimming pool hydraulics, waterproofing methods, and industry safety codes. * **Attention to Detail:** High capability to spot discrepancies in structural designs and specifications to avoid material shortages * Familiarity with local construction codes, health & safety standards, and regulatory compliance related to pool construction. * Strong verbal and written communication skills **Key Responsibility:** * Prepare detailed cost estimates for swimming pool projects, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor work, and overheads. * Analyze architectural drawings, structural designs, and specifications to prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities). * Prepare and submit tenders, bids, and proposals in a timely manner. * Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure best pricing and quality. * Develop preliminary budgets for projects during conceptual stages and update them as the design evolves. * Advise the sales or business development team on cost-effective design options and value engineering. * Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methods or materials. * Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and clients to ensure all project requirements are accurately captured. * Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client briefings when required. * Maintain regular communication with project managers and procurement to ensure cost compliance during execution. * Maintain organized records of estimates, quotations, and bid documentation. * Review project progress and actual costs to adjust future estimates and improve accuracy. * Prepare post-bid analysis and project cost reconciliation reports.
