Estimator / Quantity Surveyor fit-out works

**Position Title:** QS Estimator – Fit-Out Works **Department:** Commercial / Estimation **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QS Estimator with experience in interior fit-out projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, tender submissions, project cost control, and commercial management of fit-out projects including retail, F&B, office, and commercial interiors. Key Responsibilities **Estimation & Tendering** * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements. * Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for fit-out, joinery, and MEP works. * Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. * Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, and pricing schedules. * Conduct value engineering and cost optimization exercises. **Quantity Surveying** * Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications. * Measure and verify quantities during project execution. * Prepare variation orders, claims, and cost reports. * Assist in preparation of project budgets and cost plans. **Procurement Support** * Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors. * Prepare comparison sheets and recommend suitable vendors. * Coordinate material and subcontractor procurement requirements. **Cost Control & Contract Administration** * Monitor project costs and profitability. * Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts. * Review subcontractor invoices and payment applications. * Prepare client progress invoices and final accounts. **Project Coordination** * Conduct site visits for measurements and project assessment. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients. * Attend project meetings as required. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects in the UAE. * Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. * UAE driving license is an advantage. Preferred Experience * Retail and F&B fit-out projects. * Joinery and custom furniture estimation. * MEP quantity take-offs and coordination. * UAE tendering and contract administration practices.
