**Facilities Engineer** **GeeM Facilities Management – Dubai, UAE** **About GeeM** GeeM Facilities Management is a fast-growing facilities management and property maintenance company in Dubai, delivering professional maintenance, renovation, fit-out, and technical services across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Facilities Management Engineer to join our operations team and support the growth of our civil and FM division. **Position Summary** The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising maintenance and project works, handling client inspections, preparing quotations and BOQs, coordinating manpower and subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in facilities management, civil maintenance, fit-out, or construction works within the UAE. **Key Responsibilities** **Operations & Site Management** * Supervise daily maintenance, civil, and fit-out activities across multiple sites * Monitor ongoing works to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion * Conduct site inspections and identify defects, technical issues, and maintenance requirements * Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams * Ensure compliance with company standards, HSE requirements, and client expectations * Follow up on material procurement, delivery, and site utilization * Prepare work schedules and monitor manpower productivity **Client & Technical Coordination** * Attend client meetings, inspections, and site visits * Understand client requirements and provide technical solutions * Handle complex maintenance and project-related requests professionally * Coordinate with building management, consultants, and facility managers * Prepare technical reports, site assessments, and recommendations **Estimation & Documentation** * Prepare BOQs, quotations, cost estimates, and material take-offs * Review drawings, specifications, and project scopes * Prepare site reports, inspection reports, and work progress updates * Maintain proper documentation and operational records * Support AMC inspections and maintenance planning **Quality & Safety** * Ensure works are executed according to approved standards and specifications * Conduct quality inspections and rectify non-conformance issues * Ensure teams follow proper safety procedures and permit requirements * Monitor site cleanliness, work quality, and customer satisfaction **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent * Minimum 3–6 years of UAE experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance, Fit-Out, or Construction * Knowledge of civil maintenance and general FM operations. **MEP Maintenance Knowledge is a PLUS** * Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, and site coordination * Good understanding of drawings and technical documentation * Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * UAE Driving License is mandatory * Experience in residential and commercial properties is preferred **Preferred Experience** **Candidates with experience in the following will have an advantage:** * Facility Management Companies * Property Maintenance Operations * Civil Rectification Works * Waterproofing and Finishing Works * Renovation & Fit-Out Projects * AMC Operations and Inspections * QA/QC and Site Inspection **Skills** * Site Supervision * BOQ & Estimation * Client Coordination * Technical Reporting * Material Management * Team Coordination * Problem Solving * Time Management * MS Office & AutoCAD Application Question(s): * What is your Expected Salary?
