Finance & Accounts Manager

**Reporting To** Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Managing Director **Job Summary** We are seeking a qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee the finance and accounting operations of our real estate development company. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in real estate accounting, be proficient in Odoo ERP, and possess sound knowledge of UAE accounting standards, taxation, and regulations applicable to real estate developers. **Qualification** * Qualified CA or Semi-Qualified CA (ICAI/ACCA/CPA or equivalent). * Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. * Professional certifications will be an added advantage. **Experience** * 5–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts. * Minimum 3 years' experience in a Real Estate Development Company. * Hands-on experience with **Odoo ERP** is mandatory. * Experience in UAE VAT compliance and financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** **Financial Management** * Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning. * Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management. **Accounting Operations** * Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts. * Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. * Ensure accurate accounting of project costs, revenue recognition, and development expenses. * Monitor customer collections and supplier payments. **Real Estate Accounting** * Handle accounting for property development projects. * Monitor project budgets, construction costs, and work-in-progress (WIP). * Maintain escrow-related accounting where applicable. * Ensure compliance with real estate regulatory requirements. * Prepare reports related to project profitability and cost control. **Compliance & Taxation** * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements. * Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities. * Prepare schedules for annual audits. * Maintain compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies. **ERP & Systems** * Manage finance modules in **Odoo ERP**. * Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. * Improve accounting processes through automation and ERP optimization. **Regulatory Knowledge** The candidate should possess good knowledge of: * Rules and regulations governing Real Estate Development Companies. * UAE VAT laws and compliance. * Escrow account requirements. * IFRS and financial reporting standards. * Corporate governance and internal controls. **NOTE : Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.** Pay: From AED1.00 per month Work Location: In person
