Financial Controller

Job Summary The Financial Controller is responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory regulations, budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining effective internal controls. The role supports management in strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and ensuring the financial stability of the organization. Key Responsibilities Financial Management * Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. * Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance. * Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Budgeting & Forecasting * Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts. * Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions. * Support management with financial planning and analysis. Compliance & Audit * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory requirements. * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Maintain internal controls and financial governance processes. * Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Strategic Support * Provide financial insights to support business decisions. * Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. * Support profitability analysis and business growth initiatives. Team Coordination * Coordinate with finance and other departments for smooth financial operations. * Support implementation and improvement of financial systems and reporting processes. Required Qualifications * Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) preferred. * 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management. * Candidates should have experience in either the Hotel, Retail, or Manufacturing sector. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting. * Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or QuickBooks.
