Finishing Foreman

* **Supervision & Coordination:** Manage, schedule, and direct daily work for trades like painters, tilers, and joiners. * **Quality Assurance (QA/QC):** Inspect workmanship against approved drawings and specifications to ensure high-quality finishing. * **Progress Monitoring:** Track site progress and ensure subcontractors complete tasks on schedule. * **Material Management:** Order, inspect, and manage materials for finishing tasks. * **Safety & Housekeeping:** Enforce safety protocols, conduct site meetings, and maintain a tidy site. * **Snagging & Handover:** Identify and rectify defects (snagging) to prepare the site for final handover. * **Communication:** Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve on-site issues. **Required Skills:** * **Experience:** Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman on large-scale commercial/residential projects. * **Technical Knowledge:** Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings, specifications, and building regulations. * **Leadership:** Strong ability to supervise, motivate, and direct direct labor and subcontractors. * **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous approach to quality, recognizing deficiencies in finishes.
