Fire Fighting Engineer

**Key Roles & Responsibilities** * **Design & Engineering:** Designing fire detection/suppression systems (sprinklers, foam, gas, hose reels) and performing hydraulic calculations using software like Elite or HYDRACALC. * **Installation & Supervision:** Supervising the site installation of fire pumps, sprinklers, and piping systems, ensuring adherence to approved drawings. * **Compliance & Approval:** Ensuring all systems comply with local regulations (e.g., ADCD/UAE Fire & Life Safety Code) and international standards like NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 2001. * **Testing & Commissioning:** Testing fire protection systems, conducting hydrostatic pressure testing, and conducting fire pump performance verifications. * **Maintenance & Audit:** Conducting regular site audits, maintenance, and risk assessments to ensure fire pumps and systems are fully operational.
