Fire protection Engineer

​We are looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete design, engineering, and execution of fire fighting and fire alarm systems for various building projects. ​Key Responsibilities: * ​Design fire protection systems, including automatic sprinklers, fire hose reels, wet/dry risers, fire pumps, and clean agent systems. * ​Perform hydraulic calculations for fire fighting networks using specialized software. * ​Prepare detailed shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and material submittals for consultant and authority approval. * ​Supervise site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. * ​Coordinate directly with Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) for drawing approvals, inspections, and final project sign-off. * ​Attend progress meetings with clients, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical queries and design clashes. * ​Assist in the testing and commissioning of all fire fighting and life safety systems. ​Requirements: * ​**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * ​**Experience:** 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the UAE, specifically in fire protection system design and site execution. * ​**Certifications:** Valid Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) Approval / Engineer Card is mandatory. * ​**Technical Skills:** Proficient in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software (Elite/HASS). Thorough knowledge of the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice and NFPA standards. * ​**Language:** Fluent in English (written and spoken). * ​**Availability:** Candidates currently residing in the UAE who can join immediately are preferred. ​Salary & Benefits: * ​Monthly Salary: AED 4,000.00 - AED 7,000.00 (Depending on experience) * ​Benefits: As per UAE Labor Law (Visa, medical insurance, and air ticket) Work Location: In person
