The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for firestopping and passive fire protection projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of firestopping systems, construction drawings, and project specifications. **Key Responsibilities** \* Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents. \* Perform detailed quantity take-offs for firestopping works. \* Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions. \* Analyze project requirements and identify suitable firestopping systems and materials. \* Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. \* Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and logistics costs. \* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams during tender preparation. \* Prepare technical and commercial proposals. \* Maintain and update estimating databases and cost records. \* Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required. \* Identify project risks and opportunities during the estimation process. \* Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards, codes, and manufacturer requirements. \* Support project handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and scope clarifications. \* Monitor market pricing trends and supplier availability. **Qualifications & Requirements** \* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering \* Minimum 3 years of experience in passive firestopping estimation \* Strong knowledge of firestopping systems from manufacturers such as: \* Hilti \* Fischer \* Nullifire \* STI \* Ability to read and interpret construction and MEP drawings. \* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software. \* Strong analytical and numerical skills. \* Excellent communication and organizational abilities. \* Knowledge of local fire codes, UL systems, ASTM standards, and passive fire protection requirements is preferred. **Preferred Skills** \* Experience with commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects. \* Knowledge of tendering procedures and contract documentation. \* Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously. \* Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction standards is an advantage. **What We Offer** \* Competitive salary package. \* Career growth opportunities. \* Professional development and training. \* Supportive and collaborative work environment.
