Fitout - Estimator cum Designer

A Fit-Out Estimator Cum Designer is responsible for preparing interior fit-out designs, estimating project costs, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting project execution from concept to completion. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Responsibilities * Prepare interior fit-out concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings. * Develop 2D and 3D designs using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar. * Prepare mood boards, material selections, and presentation drawings. * Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and design expectations. * Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations and project standards. * Modify designs based on client feedback and site conditions. * Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings when required. Estimation Responsibilities * Review tender drawings, BOQ, and project specifications. * Conduct quantity take-offs for civil, MEP, ceiling, flooring, joinery, painting, glass, and other fit-out works. * Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets. * Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Analyze material, labor, and subcontractor costs. * Prepare tender submissions and commercial proposals. * Maintain updated pricing databases for materials and vendors. * Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding project costs. Site & Coordination Responsibilities * Conduct site visits and measurements before estimation and design preparation. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors. * Attend client meetings and technical discussions. * Monitor project variations and prepare variation cost estimates. * Assist project execution team with technical clarifications.
