Foreman (Building Construction)

**Job Summary** The Foreman – Building Construction is responsible for supervising and coordinating site workers, ensuring that construction activities are carried out as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The role acts as the key link between site labor and management. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and manage daily site activities and workforce (masons, carpenters, steel fixers, helpers, etc.). * Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. * Allocate tasks to workers and monitor productivity and performance. * Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Managers on work progress and requirements. * Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment on site. * Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with project standards. * Maintain daily site reports, attendance, and work progress updates. * Identify and resolve site issues and report any delays or risks. * Ensure housekeeping and proper site organization. * Enforce health & safety regulations and ensure workers follow PPE requirements. * Assist in inspections and coordinate with subcontractors when required. **Qualifications & Requirements** * Diploma or relevant technical certification (preferred). * Minimum **5–8 years of experience** in building construction, with at least **2–3 years as a Foreman**. * Strong knowledge of construction activities (civil, structural, finishing works). * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. * Experience in handling manpower and site coordination. * Familiarity with Qatar/GCC construction standards and safety regulations is an advantage. * Basic communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus). **Skills & Competencies** * Leadership and team management * Problem-solving and decision-making * Time management and planning * Quality control awareness * Strong communication skills **Working Conditions** * Outdoor construction site environment * Exposure to weather conditions * Long working hours / shift-based work depending on project needs **Salary & Benefits** * As per company policy and experience * Overtime, accommodation, transportation, and other site benefits Application Question(s): * Can you join immediately as this position to be filled immediately? * How many of Foreman experience do you have BUILDING Construction?
