General Accountant

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT handling, and inventory/accounts management. Candidate should have good knowledge of Zoho applications, especially Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, and related accounting systems. Key Responsibilities * Handle daily accounting entries and bookkeeping * Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) * Prepare invoices, credit notes, receipts, and payment vouchers * Reconcile bank statements and customer/supplier statements * Maintain petty cash and expense records * Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports * Handle UAE VAT filing and related documentation * Monitor stock/inventory transactions and warehouse records * Maintain proper filing of accounting and company documents * Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and HR/Admin departments * Follow up pending payments from customers * Maintain accurate records in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory * Support audit and compliance requirements Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce * Minimum 3+ years accounting experience in UAE preferred * Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations * Experience in Zoho Books / Zoho Inventory preferred * Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and reporting * Ability to prepare statements and reconciliation reports * Good communication and organizational skills * Immediate joiners preferred Preferred Skills * Knowledge of inventory accounting * Experience handling multi-branch or warehouse accounts * Understanding of customer statement checking and stock movement * Ability to maintain organized digital filing systems Salary & Benefits * Salary: AED \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ * Visa + Medical Insurance as per UAE Labour Law * Annual Leave & Air Ticket as per company policy Work Location: In person
