### **Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **General Accountant** with a strong background in **property management and real estate development**. The role will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and real estate accounting practices. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Handle **day-to-day accounting operations** including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations * Manage **accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)** * Prepare **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports** * Perform **bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring** * Maintain and track **property-related financial records** (leases, rental income, service charges) * Handle **tenant billing, collections, and aging reports** * Monitor **developer project costs, budgets, and revenue recognition** * Assist in **VAT filing and compliance** as per UAE regulations * Coordinate with auditors for **internal and external audits** * Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures * Support payroll processing and expense verification if required ### **Key Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field** * Minimum **3–6 years of experience in UAE**, specifically in: + Property Management + Real Estate Development * Strong knowledge of: + **UAE VAT regulations** + **Real estate accounting practices** * Experience with **ERP systems** (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred)** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Good communication and reporting skills ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Professional certification such as **CPA / ACCA / CMA** is an advantage * Experience handling **multiple properties / real estate portfolios** * Knowledge of **service charge accounting and escrow accounts** ### **Key Competencies** * Attention to detail * Time management * Confidentiality and integrity * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
