General Accountant

**Job Description – Accountant** **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Industry:** Accounting & Bookkeeping Services **Employment Type:** Full-time **About Us** We are a professional Accounting & Bookkeeping firm in Dubai, providing outsourced finance, accounting, and tax compliance services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Accountant** to support our accounting team in managing client accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple client accounts. * Record invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries in accounting systems. * Perform basic reconciliations (bank, suppliers, and customers). * Support in preparation of VAT returns and ensure proper documentation of VAT invoices. * Maintain client records and filing systems (digital and physical). * Assist in payroll preparation and WPS file uploads. * Work closely with senior accountants on monthly and year-end closing tasks. * Generate basic management reports as per client requirements. * Ensure timely and accurate entry of all accounting data. **Qualifications & Skills** * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 1–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred, but not mandatory). * Basic knowledge of **UAE VAT and Corporate Tax** is an advantage. * Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., **Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Tally**). * Strong MS Excel skills. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Attention to detail and willingness to learn. * Prefers Arabic Speaker but not mandatory **Salary & Benefits** * **Salary Range (Dubai Market): AED 3,000 – AED 4,500 per month** (depending on qualifications and experience). * Health insurance as per UAE law. * Annual leave * On-the-job training and exposure to different industries. * Career development opportunities within the firm Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
