Soul Pantry is a fast-growing FMCG snack brand on a mission to bridge indulgence and nutrition through innovative, better-for-you products. As we continue to expand across retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, and distribution channels, we are looking for a hands-on Accountant to manage and oversee all financial operations of the business.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant from UAE who can independently manage the company's complete accounting function, ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance, and provide management with clear financial insights to support business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Accounting
* Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts.
* Record daily financial transactions and journal entries.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, and cash transactions.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
* Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
* Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
* Analyze business performance and profitability by channel, customer, and product.
* Generate management reports with key financial insights and recommendations.
* Track budgets, expenses, and variances against forecasts.
Tax & Compliance
* Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance and filings.
* Handle VAT calculations, returns, and submissions.
* Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations.
* Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
* Maintain all financial records and documentation for audits.
Inventory & Costing
* Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
* Track product costing, landed costs, and gross margins.
* Work closely with procurement and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and margin improvement areas.
Payroll & Administration
* Process payroll accurately and on time.
* Manage employee reimbursements and expense claims.
* Monitor supplier payments and customer collections.
* Maintain contracts, payment schedules, and financial obligations.
Business Support
* Assist management with budgeting and financial planning.
* Develop and improve financial processes and internal controls.
* Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
* Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within FMCG, food & beverage, retail, or consumer goods.
* Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
* Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
