**Job Summary**
Lana Life Care LLC is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented **General Accountant** with healthcare industry experience, preferably in home healthcare. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and possess strong expertise in financial reporting, ledger management, and profit & loss analysis. Immediate availability is highly preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
* Prepare and analyze **Profit & Loss statements**, balance sheets, and financial reports.
* Handle **bank reconciliations**, vendor accounts, and customer account settlements.
* Manage and monitor healthcare-related procurement and purchase records.
* Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT regulations**, including timely filing and documentation.
* Oversee payroll processing in line with UAE labor laws and company policies.
* Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Track and control office and operational expenses.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
* Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
* Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
* Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
**Requirements & Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
* Proven experience as a **General Accountant in the healthcare sector** (home healthcare experience preferred).
* Strong working knowledge of **UAE VAT laws and compliance**.
* Proficiency in **Zoho (Books/Payroll)** and **advanced Microsoft Excel** is mandatory.
* Strong familiarity with payroll processing, including salary calculations, WPS compliance, and employee deductions.
* Solid understanding of financial reporting, ledger management, and P&L analysis.
* Experience handling healthcare-related purchasing and expense tracking.
* Ability to work **independently with minimal supervision**.
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
* Must be **immediately available to join**.
