This early-career role is for a civil engineer with a background in soil mechanics to develop technical expertise within a multidisciplinary consultancy. Support geotechnical design and site operations by interpreting test data, modeling soil profiles, and performing bearing capacity and settlement analyses. Additionally, gain hands-on exposure to deep excavation systems, shoring, dewatering, and infrastructure planning, bridging the gap between theoretical foundation engineering and complex construction-stage design. RESPONSABILITIES: Support senior engineers in reviewing geotechnical investigation data, laboratory test results, and field test outputs. Prepare borehole logs, soil parameter summaries, idealized soil profiles, and basic geotechnical calculations. Assist in foundation design, including bearing capacity and settlement assessments. Support the design and review of shoring systems, secant pile walls, anchors, waller beams, and dewatering systems. Assist in preparing technical reports, calculation sheets, drawings, design notes, and construction-stage documentation. Participate in site supervision activities where required, ensuring works are aligned with design specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the delivery of geotechnical and civil engineering assignments. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, with academic focus or project experience in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, or ground improvement. Exposure to geotechnical design, site supervision, excavation support, shoring, dewatering, and foundation systems is preferred. Working knowledge of relevant engineering software such as WALLAP, GEO5, Settle3D, PLAXIS 2D, AutoCAD, SAP, ETABS, or SAFE is desirable. Strong Excel capability for processing and presenting laboratory and field test results is required. Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, research, and time-management skills are expected. Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
