The ideal candidate will have solid experience in general accounting and excellent Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data. **Key Responsibilities** + Maintain and reconcile the general ledger. + Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. + Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. + Assist with internal and external audits. + Use advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data and create reports. + Periodic reconciliation of GL ledgers and sub ledgers. + Prepare a checklist of monthly accrual and amortization expenses. + Ensure proper posting of entries in the right GL of respective departments. + Ensure timely payment and replenishment utilities and Government related accounts. + Prepare correspondence accounts entries related to employee payroll and benefits. **Experience & Educational Qualifications required:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Certification in Accounting will be an added advantage (CMA / CPA). + Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Ledger accountant. + In-depth knowledge of accruals, reconciliation, and period end closing process. + Working knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle. + Working knowledge of Infor M3 will be an added advantage. + Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel. + Attention to detail with high level of accuracy. + Strong Communication Skills in English, Arabic will be an added advantage. **What do we offer:** + Competitive salary. + Medical Insurance. + Opportunities for career growth. **How to Apply:** + Please submit your resume to [email protected]. + Please mention your notice period in the application. + Please mention your expected monthly salary in AED in the application. + Candidates who are shortlisted for the role will be contacted. + Candidates currently in UAE and can join immediately preferred.
