Join us. **Job Description** The HSE Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all health, safety, and environmental aspects across rail projects. This role ensures full compliance with regulatory and client requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all project phases. The position requires proven experience in rail infrastructure projects and the ability to manage HSE risks in complex, high-risk environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with regulatory and rail industry standards. * Lead all HSE activities across rail project sites, ensuring safe execution of works. * Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement mitigation measures specific to rail operations. * Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and company HSE requirements. * Perform regular site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions. * Deliver HSE inductions, training, and awareness programs to staff and subcontractors. * Monitor and report HSE performance, including KPIs, incidents, and improvement initiatives. * Act as the primary point of contact for HSE matters with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders. * Drive continuous improvement and promote a proactive safety culture across all rail project activities. **Key Requirements** * Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in HSE within similar projects. * **Mandatory:** Proven experience in rail/infrastructure projects. * Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, rail safety standards, and best practices. * Demonstrated experience managing HSE on complex, high-risk projects. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. * Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred. **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
