HSE Safety Coordinator (UAE Infra Exp Only)

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) – Dubai Branch is looking for an experienced **HSE Coordinator** to join our **RTA infrastructure project in Dubai**. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in health, safety, and environmental coordination within road, bridge, infrastructure, or construction projects in the UAE. The role involves supporting the project HSE team in implementing safety procedures, monitoring site activities, maintaining documentation, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with project, client, consultant, and UAE regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate daily HSE activities at the project site and support the HSE Manager / HSE Engineer in implementing the project HSE plan. * Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards. * Assist in preparing and maintaining HSE reports, inspection records, training records, toolbox talk records, permits, and other safety documentation. * Coordinate toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness sessions, and site safety campaigns. * Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with project safety rules, PPE requirements, and approved method statements. * Support incident, accident, near-miss, and unsafe condition reporting, investigation, and follow-up action tracking. * Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to close HSE observations and non-compliance issues. * Assist in monitoring lifting activities, excavation works, traffic management, hot works, confined space works, and other high-risk activities. * Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure corrective actions are properly followed up. * Maintain coordination with consultant/client representatives during inspections and HSE-related site discussions. * Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations, RTA project requirements, and company HSE standards. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. * Minimum **3 to 5 years of HSE experience** in UAE construction or infrastructure projects. * Previous experience in **RTA road, bridge, underpass, utilities, or infrastructure projects** will be preferred. * NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred. * IOSH / OSHA / First Aid / Fire Safety certifications will be an advantage. * Good knowledge of site safety procedures, risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work systems, and HSE documentation. * Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills. * Ability to work under pressure and coordinate with multiple site teams. * Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice will be preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile * Candidates currently available in the UAE. * Experience with main contractors or large-scale infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with consultant/client HSE requirements. * Good command of English; Hindi/Urdu/Arabic will be an added advantage.
