Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities: * Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT environments through monitoring, automation, and regular patching. * Managing both physical hardware and virtualized/cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) to enable business continuity. * Installing, configuring, and updating physical and virtual servers (e.g., Windows/Linux), storage systems, and networks. * Managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including Azure or AWS infrastructure. * Using specialized tools to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal uptime. * Utilizing scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., DevOps) to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management. * Implementing security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and patching schedules to protect data and infrastructure. * Establishing backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. * Capable to perform backup restoration whenever needed. * Acting as an escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues. * Working with developers and IT teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application needs and company growth. * Proactively monitoring and optimizing network and system performance, including capacity planning and trend analysis. * Driving proactive issue resolution through root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures. * Maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, SOPs, and incident resolutions. **Qualifications** Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computers (or) Networking Certifications: * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) * Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) * Certified Data Center Professional Cloud Solutions certified by Microsoft or AWS
