IT Engineer / Technician

We are looking for an experienced for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting an organization's IT infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of computer systems, networks, servers, and related technologies while providing technical support to users and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, servers, and network systems. * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues. * Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. * Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures and access controls. * Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures. * Support cloud services and virtualization platforms. * Provide technical assistance and training to end users. * Document IT processes, configurations, and system changes. * Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues. * Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry standards. Required Skills * Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. * Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud. * Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. Typical Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. * Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certifications. * 2–5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering.
