IT Support Engineer

Job Summary We are hiring an experienced **IT Support Engineer** with **5+ years of hands-on experience** in IT support, server administration, and networking. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge in **servers, networking, desktop support, firewall, routers, switches, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, CCTV, and day-to-day IT infrastructure management**. Key Responsibilities * Provide advanced IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, IP phones, CCTV, and other IT devices. * Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and business applications. * Manage and troubleshoot **Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file sharing, group policies, and user permissions**. * Configure and maintain **routers, switches, firewalls, access points, VPN, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks**. * Monitor server performance, storage, backups, antivirus, and security updates. * Manage user accounts, email accounts, access permissions, shared folders, and IT policies. * Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Outlook, and other cloud-based platforms. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, server, and internet connectivity issues. * Provide onsite and remote support to staff or clients. * Maintain IT assets, licenses, documentation, passwords, and network diagrams. * Coordinate with vendors, ISP providers, and third-party technical teams. * Support CCTV, biometric attendance, access control, and structured cabling requirements. * Ensure fast and proper resolution of IT support tickets and technical issues. Required Skills & Qualifications * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field. * **Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.** * **Must have strong server and networking knowledge.** * Hands-on experience with **Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file server, and backup management**. * Strong knowledge of **LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, IP addressing, and network troubleshooting**. * Good experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Outlook, printers, scanners, and business applications. * Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration. * Basic knowledge of CCTV, IP cameras, NVR/DVR, access control, and structured cabling is an advantage. * Ability to work independently and handle technical issues under pressure. * Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. * Valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage.
