The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting transactions, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The role includes handling accounts receivable and payable, preparing financial reports, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting overall financial operations. * Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances. * Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including processing supplier invoices, verifying expenses, and preparing payments. * Record daily income, expenses, and financial transactions accurately in the accounting system. * Monitor and maintain cash flow records to support financial planning and operations. * Perform monthly and periodic bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. * Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow reports, and expense summaries. * Maintain and update general ledger accounts and accounting records. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. * Support inventory and stock record management by reconciling inventory transactions and maintaining accurate records. * Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies. * Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation. * Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles. * Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Experience using accounting software such as Zoho Books. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
