Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant will support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting activities. This role involves maintaining financial records, assisting with reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities * Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and books of accounts * Record daily transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments * Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes * Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring * Help in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documents * Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records * Support VAT/tax-related documentation and submissions (if applicable) * Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned Requirements & Qualifications * Master in Commerce is a must * 0–2 years of experience in accounting role. * Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) * Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills * Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines * Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills * Basic understanding of VAT and financial regulations * Experience working in a corporate or audit environment * Willingness to learn and grow within the finance function Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * What is your highest qualification? eg.
