Junior accountant/ Cashier

**Job Title:** Junior Accountant / Cashier **Location:** Ras Al Khaimah & Abu Dhabi, UAE **Industry:** Automotive – Premium Multi-brand Service Center **Reporting to:** Accounts Manager / Branch Manager **Employment Type:** Full-time **Job Purpose:** To handle daily accounting and cash transactions, ensuring accurate billing, recording, and reporting in line with company policies. The ideal candidate will support financial operations and customer service in a dynamic automotive service environment. **Key Responsibilities: Accounting Duties:** * Record daily sales, receipts, and expenses in the accounting system (Tally or ERP). * Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions. * Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, petty cash statements, and bank reconciliations. * Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on pending payments. * Support the senior accountant during audits and inventory reconciliations. **Cashiering Duties:** * Collect payments from customers via cash, card, or online transfers. * Issue receipts/invoices and ensure accurate billing as per service orders. * Manage daily cash closing, reconcile cash drawer, and prepare daily cash reports. * Deposit cash and cheques to the bank as required. * Maintain high accuracy and transparency in all monetary transactions. **Customer Interaction:** * Coordinate with service advisors and customers for billing-related queries. * Maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach at the reception desk or cashier counter. **Qualifications & Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 1–2 years of experience in accounting or cashiering, preferably in automotive or retail industries. * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (TALLY ERP knowledge is a plus). * Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. * Basic knowledge of VAT regulations in UAE. * Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus). * Trustworthy, organized, and customer-focused. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary based on experience. * Company-provided accommodation & Transportation. * Medical insurance and annual leave as per UAE labor law.
