**Position:** Junior Accountant **Industry:** Interior Fit-Out / Interior Design Company **Location:** UAE **Experience Required:** 2–3 Years (preferably in Interior Fit-Out, Construction, or Contracting Industry) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 2–3 years of UAE experience to support the finance and accounts department. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting operations, invoice processing, reconciliation, VAT compliance, and project-related accounting within an interior fit-out or construction environment. Key Responsibilities * Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions. * Prepare and process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. * Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers. * Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts. * Monitor project costs, subcontractor payments, and expense allocations. * Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables. * Assist in VAT calculation, filing, and compliance as per UAE regulations. * Maintain petty cash records and expense reimbursements. * Support month-end and year-end closing activities. * Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records. * Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting documents. * Assist in payroll processing and employee expense claims when required. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. * 2–3 years of accounting experience in the UAE. * Experience in an Interior Fit-Out, Construction, Contracting, or Engineering company is preferred. * Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards. * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or ERP systems). * Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills. * Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
