Manufacturing Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **Manufacturing Accountant** to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing accounting processes, cost accounting, and production-related financial entries. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records related to manufacturing operations, ensuring proper cost allocation, and supporting management with insightful financial analysis. **Key Responsibilities** * Record and maintain all manufacturing accounting entries including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods * Handle cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and production cost tracking * Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accuracy between physical and system stock * Prepare monthly manufacturing cost reports and production summaries * Analyze production costs, overheads, and efficiency metrics * Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for accurate inventory valuation * Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations * Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards * Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to manufacturing accounts * Maintain and improve costing systems and processes **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, with strong focus on **manufacturing accounting** * Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes * Experience in recording production entries, BOM (Bill of Materials), and inventory costing * Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Attention to detail and high level of accuracy **Preferred Skills** * Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG industry * Knowledge of standard costing and variance analysis * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have experience working in manufacturing accounting or cost accounting? * How many years of experience do you have in accounting overall? * Have you worked on manufacturing entries such as raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods accounting? * Do you have experience in cost accounting, standard costing, or variance analysis? * Do you have experience in inventory reconciliation and stock valuation?
