Mechanical / Cooling Lead

Mechanical / Cooling Lead opportunity in Baghdad Data center The Mechanical Lead will be responsible for supervising all mechanical and cooling works . The role includes installation supervision, testing and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements. The position also supports the transition into facility operations to ensure reliable and efficient cooling system performance during both project execution and initial operations.Key Responsibilities-Oversee CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water systems, pumps, piping, valves, HVAC, ventilation, drainage, and cooling support systems.-Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.-Coordinate with electrical, ICT, fire protection, BMS/DCIM, and civil teams.-Witness testing and commissioning activities including pressure testing, flushing, balancing, SAT, and integrated testing.-Track punch lists, NCRs, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.-Review test reports, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and handover documentation.-Support preparation of SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs for operational readiness.-Assist during initial operations by monitoring cooling systems and supporting maintenance activities.Requirements-Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Building Services.7–10 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical construction, testing & commissioning, or facility operations.-Experience in data centers, telecom, hospitals, airports, or other mission-critical environments preferred.-Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, CRAH/CRAC units, chilled water systems, piping, pumps, and cooling controls.-Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/BIM is an advantage.HVAC, T&C, or OSHA/HSE certifications preferred.- Working English knowledge is preferred.-Strong site supervision, coordination, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.How to apply:Please build an exceptional candidate profile on www.employiq.net and apply through the (jobs) button.Send your CV on ( [email protected] ) titling your email with(Mechanical Cooling Lead - EmployIQ )Only short-listed candidates will be contacted
