Mechanical Draftsman

**Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman** **Experience Required:** 2–5 Years **Location:** Abu Dhabi **Department:** Engineering / Design Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman with 2–5 years of experience to prepare accurate technical drawings and layouts for mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and capable of working closely with engineers and project teams to develop design drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD. * Develop layouts for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems as required. * Review engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings. * Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy. * Revise drawings based on design changes, client comments, and project requirements. * Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion. * Maintain drawing records and document control procedures. * Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company requirements. * Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required. Requirements * Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. * 2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman. * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage. * Good understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Skills * Experience in construction, MEP, oil & gas, or industrial projects. * Familiarity with international drafting standards and codes. * Knowledge of 3D modeling software is an advantage. **Joining:** Immediate / As per availability.
