Mechanical Engineer

***Key Responsibilities*** * Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents related to mechanical works. * Plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and related systems. * Monitor site activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. * Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions. * Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to mechanical works. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. * Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project requirements, and safety standards. * Review subcontractor work progress, measurements, and payment applications. * Attend project meetings and provide technical support to project teams. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities of mechanical systems. * Maintain project documentation, reports, and records related to mechanical works. * Identify and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety. ***Requirements*** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction projects, preferably in building construction. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and MEP systems. * Experience in project execution, site supervision, and coordination with consultants and subcontractors. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software. * Familiarity with local authority requirements and construction standards. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively. ***Preferred Qualifications*** * UAE/GCC construction experience preferred. * Valid UAE driving license is an advantage. * Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures. * Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or villa projects is preferred.
