Mechanical Engineer

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C is seeking a skilled **Mechanical Engineer** to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in construction projects, ensuring all works are completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant codes and standards. **Responsibilities:** * Design and oversee the installation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. * Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specs, and documentation. * Coordinate with project managers, structural engineers, and other disciplines during project execution. * Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design and safety requirements. * Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues throughout project lifecycle. * Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and environmental regulations. * Assist in procurement of mechanical equipment and materials. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and value engineering efforts. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering preferably in the construction industry. * Familiarity with mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. * Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. * Knowledge of local regulations and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, UAE codes). * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities. **Benefits** * Competitive salary. * Official UAE employment status. * Comprehensive medical insurance coverage.
