Mechanical engineer - Oil & Gas

* Execute and supervise mechanical activities related to Oil & Gas projects, including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, and structural supports. * Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents. * Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality requirements. * Prepare material take-offs (MTO), technical queries, and site reports. * Ensure all activities are carried out according to project specifications, international standards, and company procedures. * Conduct inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards. * Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe work practices on site. * Manage subcontractors, manpower allocation, and daily site activities. * Participate in meetings with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects. * Good knowledge of piping systems, mechanical equipment installation, maintenance, and commissioning. * Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM. * Strong knowledge of project execution, planning, and site coordination. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. * Proficiency in engineering software and reporting tools. * Strong communication and leadership skills.
