Mechanical Site Engineer ( Dubai )

**Mechanical Engineer (Design – Buildings & Infrastructure)** **Location:** Dubai Jabel Ali , UAE **Experience Required:** 7 Years - 2 Years Relevant Experience **Industry:** Engineering Consultancy / Buildings & Infrastructure **Expected Start Date:** Immediate Joiner **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare mechanical design calculations, drawings, and specifications for building and infrastructure projects. * Design HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems in compliance with local and international codes (ADDM, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, BS, etc.). * Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. * Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. * Conduct technical design reviews and value engineering to optimize cost and performance. * Liaise with clients, authorities, and contractors during design and construction stages. * Support authority submissions and obtain necessary approvals from Abu Dhabi local authorities. * Attend design coordination meetings and provide technical support during construction. * Ensure designs comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Assist in mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for buildings and infrastructure projects. * Strong consultancy background with experience in the UAE or GCC preferred. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and HVAC load calculation software. * Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements and international standards. * Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient systems. * Professional certification (e.g., CEng, PE) is an advantage. **Qualified Candidates please share cv on WhatsApp: +971564464212** Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
