Mechanical Technical Engineer

**Hiring: Mechanical Technical Engineer (MEP)** We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled **Mechanical Technical Engineer** to join our technical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between design and execution, ensuring all mechanical systems are engineered to the highest standards of efficiency and compliance. **Core Responsibilities:** * **Shop Drawings:** Develop and review comprehensive MEP shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) using AutoCAD and Revit. * **Technical Submittals:** Prepare, review, and follow up on material submittals and technical data sheets for consultant approval. * **Coordination:** Lead the MEP coordination process (CSD) to resolve clashes with structural and architectural elements. * **Calculations:** Perform and verify static pressure, pump head, and hydraulic calculations. * **Quantity Surveying:** Accurate quantity take-offs for procurement and progress billing. * **RFI Management:** Generate and manage Requests for Information to resolve design discrepancies. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * **Experience:** Minimum [10] years of experience in the UAE construction/contracting sector. * **Software:** Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and HAP**. * **Standards:** Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and UAE local authority regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defense). * **Skills:** Strong analytical thinking, excellent English communication, and the ability to meet tight project deadlines. **Preferred:** * Candidates available to join **immediately**.
