MEP Draftsman

**JOB DESCRIPTION:** We are hiring a **MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Draftsman** who can creates detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for building systems using CAD and Revit software. They can turn engineer designs into actionable, clash-free shop drawings, ensuring compliance with local codes (e.g., DEWA, DCD) and collaborating with architects and site teams for construction. **Key Responsibilities** * **Drafting & Design:** Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, as-built drawings, and installation layouts for HVAC, piping, firefighting, and electrical systems (lighting, power, ELV). * **Coordination:** Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings to ensure clash-free installation, often using Navisworks or Revit. * **Technical Compliance:** Ensure all drawings comply with local authority regulations (e.g., DM, DDA, DEWA) and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA). * **Revisions:** Modify drawings based on site instructions, consultant comments, and engineer feedback. * **Material Take-offs (MTO):** Assist with bill of quantities (BOQ) and quantity extractions. **Requirements** * **Education:** **Bachelors Degree** in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. * **Experience:** Generally **3–10 years** of experience in MEP drafting, with strong preference for local GCC/UAE construction experience. * **Technical Skills:** High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP is essential. * **Soft Skills:** Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate with on-site teams. **Job Type:** Full Time **Note:** **Candidate must have knowledge of experience as MEP Draftsman at least 3-10 years in UAE.** Work Location: In person
