MEP Draftsman

**Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE **Experience:** 4–5 Years **Industry:** Construction / Interior Fit-out **Role Objective** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex technical designs into high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings, ensuring accuracy across electrical, mechanical, and interior fit-out disciplines. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed Shop Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and Section Details for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Fit-out projects. * Develop comprehensive Electrical layouts, including lighting, power, fire alarm, and ELV systems. * Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure drawings align with site conditions and project specifications. * Ensure all drawings comply with local authority standards (ADDC, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, etc.) and international building codes. * Manage and maintain drawing revisions, ensuring the latest versions are available to the site team. **Required Skills & Qualifications** * **Degree/Diploma** in Civil/Electrical Engineering or Architectural Drafting. * **Experience:** Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience in the UAE * **Technical Proficiency:** Expert-level skills in AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Knowledge of Revit (BIM) is a significant advantage. * **Discipline Knowledge:** Strong understanding of electrical circuits, HVAC ducting, piping, and joinery/fit-out detailing. * **Communication:** Good command of English; ability to explain technical details to the construction team. **Salary & Benefits** * **Salary:** Competitive monthly salary (negotiable based on experience). * **Health Insurance:** Comprehensive medical insurance as per UAE law. * **Visa:** Employment visa and labor card provided. * **Growth:** Opportunity to work on high-profile projects in Abu Dhabi.
