Mining Engineer

**Job Title: Mining Engineer – Quarry & Crusher Operations** **Company:** Emirates Gabbro Quarries **Location:** Kadra, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Job Summary Emirates Gabbro Quarries is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to oversee quarry extraction and crusher operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for mine planning, drilling and blasting coordination, production optimization, safety compliance, and efficient management of quarry resources to achieve production targets. Key Responsibilities * Plan and supervise quarry mining activities and aggregate production. * Coordinate drilling, blasting, excavation, hauling, and crushing operations. * Monitor crusher plant performance and optimize material flow. * Prepare short-term and long-term mine plans. * Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, company policies, and HSE standards. * Analyze production data and implement improvements to maximize efficiency. * Manage equipment utilization and coordinate maintenance activities. * Lead and supervise quarry personnel, contractors, and operators. * Prepare production, safety, and operational reports. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 5–10 years of experience in quarry, mining, or crusher operations. * GCC or UAE quarry/crusher experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting practices. * Experience with aggregate production and crushing plants. * Familiarity with mine planning software and production reporting. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * UAE Blasting License is an advantage. * Willingness to relocate to Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Preferred Skills * Open-pit quarry operations experience. * Production planning and cost control. * Fleet management and equipment optimization. * Quality control of aggregates and construction materials. * Risk assessment and HSE management.
