Operation Coordinator

Al Majal Human Resources is seeking a local Operation Coordinator to support Oil & Gas exploration operations, including seismic, drilling, and testing activities, for an international oil and gas operator in Baghdad, Iraq.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with government entities, partners, contractors, and local communitiesSupport permit acquisition in accordance with Iraqi laws and regulationsMaintain public relations with local communities and tribes to ensure smooth operationsTrack progress of exploration operations and support operational documentationAssist in preparation of official correspondence related to operations and HSSESupport seismic acquisition, drilling, and testing activities during the exploration phaseRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Oil & Gas Engineering, Public Relations, HSSE, or related fieldMinimum 3 years’ experience in oil & gas exploration or development projects in IraqFamiliarity with seismic, drilling, and testing operationsGood understanding of Iraqi regulations and upstream project processesStrong communication, organizational, and coordination skillsFluent English & Arabic
