We are a French company based in Dubai looking to urgently hire a **Payroll Accountant**. Full details to be discussed during the interview. **Duties and responsibilities:** * Responsible for the whole Payroll process * Enters and records all payroll and employee data in **Tally** and **ZOHO** accounting software for efficient financial management * Prepare all the Payroll-related costs during the Budgeting process * Update all the Payroll-related costs during the Quarterly Forecast * Entry and follow-up of employees’ deductions, loans, additions, bonuses, unpaid leaves, etc. * Process and issue employee monthly pay slips, and ensure their distribution to the employees * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll related laws and best practices * Posting of gratuity calculation accrual entries * Supports in VAT submission * Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information * Collect, sort and check supplier invoices * Data entry, including vouchers, accounting statements, other reports and records * Prepare sales tax invoices/bills * Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements * Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements * Other ad hoc responsibilities such as; adding new employees to Tally, processing and posting of salary advance requests, EOSB payment, Social security contribution payments **Requirements:** * **Mandatory: Advance knowledge of Tally accounting software and ZOHO for efficient financial management** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in finance and accounting. * Strong knowledge of WPS regulations and other applicable local and regional labor and financial laws. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * In-depth understanding of UAE accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and other financial reporting tools. * Trustworthy and dependable in handling confidential and sensitive payroll and financial information. * Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and resolve issues professionally. * Good overall communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels. * Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
