Harlem Group is hiring a PDI TechnicianLocation : ErbilJOB PURPOSEThe Stockyard & PDI Technician is responsible for ensuring the readiness and condition of vehicles in thedealership stockyard, performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and light maintenance to meet dealershipand manufacturer standards. This role involves efficient stockyard organization and maintaining vehicles’quality and presentation for customer delivery, contributing to an optimal customer experience.Job DescriptionMaintain organized, accessible vehicle parking in the stockyard, moving vehicles as needed forinventory rotation and sales requirements.Conduct regular inspections to identify cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs, and promptlyaddress any issues or report them to relevant personnel.Track vehicle location within the stockyard and support dealership staff in locating and retrievingvehicles as needed.Perform PDIs on new and pre-owned vehicles, including checks for mechanical, electrical, andaesthetic quality per dealership and manufacturer standards. Execute basic maintenance tasks, such as topping off fluids, checking tire pressures, battery tests,and ensuring overall vehicle functionality.Identify and document any issues found during inspections and arrange for required repairs oradjustments.Conduct routine cleaning and detailing of stockyard vehicles, including washing, waxing,vacuuming, and interior touch-ups.Apply protective coatings and treatments as needed and ensure vehicles are clean and ready fordisplay or customer delivery.Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, locations, and any maintenance actions taken. Report inventory discrepancies or maintenance concerns to the Service Manager to ensure timelyaction and stockyard efficiency.Minimum Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in automotive maintenance is a plus.• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related automotive or dealership role, preferably in PDI,detailing, or vehicle inspection.• Licenses: Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
