Planning Engineer

**URGENTLY REQUIRED PLANNING ENGINEER** **Location:** Dubai **Industry:** Construction / Civil Engineering **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Experience Required:** Minimum 8 Years in UAE Construction Companies (Dubai experience mandatory) Job Summary We are urgently looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in construction project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years of experience working with construction companies in Dubai/UAE and be capable of handling multiple projects independently. Key Responsibilities * Prepare baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. * Develop detailed work programs, manpower histograms, cash flow, and resource plans. * Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly. * Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. * Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. * Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions. * Conduct delay analysis and recovery planning. * Track procurement and material delivery schedules. * Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual milestones. * Attend project progress meetings with consultants and clients. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Minimum 8 years of experience with construction companies in Dubai/UAE. * Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office. * Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects preferred. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * UAE driving license is an advantage. Preferred Skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of UAE construction standards and project procedures. * Ability to prepare recovery schedules and EOT claims documentation.
